Your Organization Doesn’t Need Another Transformation. It Needs to Get Good at Change.
AI is accelerating what was already true: Change is no longer an event to manage. It is an organizational capability to build. Free guide and workbook available for immediate download.
Your organization does not have a change problem. It has a change capability problem.
Deloitte’s 2026 research found that one-third of workers experienced 15 major changes in a single year. The steady pace of change was linked to decreased well-being for 68%, increased workload for 60%, and feeling left behind for 58%. But organizations that built a more adaptive workforce were 2.4 times more likely to report better financial results and more meaningful work. Deloitte surveyed more than 9,000 business and HR leaders across 89 countries.
The meaning is simple: Organizations cannot keep piling new changes onto people and calling it transformation. They need a repeatable way to help people understand, test, learn, and adjust.
Most organizations still treat change as a temporary project. A new system arrives. Training is delivered. Leaders wait for work to return to normal.
But normal keeps moving.
AI makes this more urgent.
Gallup found that 65% of employees in organizations using AI said it improved their personal productivity. Yet only 12% strongly agreed that AI had transformed how work gets done. Gallup’s findings show why adoption and transformation are not the same. Giving people a tool does not automatically create better work.
Free Change Management Toolkit
To make these ideas practical, I created a free organizational change management resource and workbook. They show how Prosci, ADKAR, and Kotter can work together during an AI-enabled transformation. The resources include step-by-step examples, readiness scores, pilot checks, action trackers, and templates you can use with your own organization.
AI adds another layer. Organizations must define what AI may do, what people must check, who decides, and when work should stop.
PwC found that skills in highly AI-exposed jobs are changing more than twice as fast as skills in less-exposed jobs. Its 2026 research makes the practical issue clear: Even when jobs remain, the work and expectations inside them are changing quickly.
The goal is not to predict every change. It is to build an organization that can face change with clarity, evidence, learning, and care.
That is how organizations get good at change—and become ready for whatever comes next.

The guide combines three established methods. Prosci connects preparation, implementation, and long-term ownership. ADKAR identifies what each group needs next. Kotter helps leaders create momentum, involve people, remove barriers, and make new practices normal.
